Ellasimone is a rising Junior at The Athenian School. She began piano at the age of four and currently studies with Ms. Tsengelmaa Lkhagvasuren, whose teaching has shaped her musical sensibility — hearing music in layers, feeling how a phrase can bloom, and understanding that a single touch can change a piece's story.
She has completed the Advanced Level of the Music Teachers' Association of California's Certificate of Merit, its highest level of evaluation in performance, technique, and theory. She is a first prize winner of the Elite International Music Competition, Sonor Music Competition, and Northern California Young Talents Music Competition. She performed on the Weill Recital stage at Carnegie Hall in 2024 and 2025, as well as in competitions and festivals throughout Northern California.
In July 2025, she attended Interlochen Arts Camp, where she was surrounded by musicians from around the world and developed a new honesty in her playing. Masterclasses with Dr. Nick Phillips and Ms. Julia Siciliano challenged her to listen more deeply and trust what she hears rather than what she expects to hear. This summer, she returns to Interlochen for six weeks, drawn back to deepen what she first discovered there.
In March 2026, she studied in Brittany, France, immersing herself fully in the local culture and community through her fluency in French. There, she was invited to perform at L'Archipel in Fouesnant. The following month, she participated in a masterclass in Vienna, Austria, with Mr. Abuzar Manafzade, an international prize-winning pianist, conductor, and composer. Together, these experiences broadened her artistic perspective across two very different corners of Europe.
Outside of piano, she dances with Athenian's Place Collective and competes in cross country and track — two pursuits that shape how she approaches music: grounded, focused, and alive. She also teaches young beginners, hoping to pass on to them the same joy that music has given to her.
